The Ann M. Martin Foundation was established in 1990 by children's book author Ann M.
Martin to provide financial
support to causes benefiting children; arts, education, and literacy programs; as well as
stray and abused animals.
In general, the Foundation has a strong interest in funding small,
grass-roots organizations, with a special focus on arts programs for
children and hard-to-fund projects. At present the Foundation does not
provide start-up funds for new organizations.
As a matter of policy, the Foundation makes grants only to organizations
that do not discriminate against people seeking services or employment
based on race, sex, religion, age, sexual preference, or physical
ability.
Grants awarded range up to but do not exceed $20,000.
At this time we are not accepting applications for new grants until further notice.
